htarragon
Haven't been here in a couple of weeks because I haven't been satisfied with my photos. I think I'm bored with them. This past week, I went out looking for foliage and found some in my neighborhood. It was difficult getting the colors right for some reason. The light was hard and bright. I tried using a polarizer but that added a color cast. The ones here did not have a polarizer on the lens.

First - Balustrade

dshombert
I think this guy is a blue-breasted warbler. He flew a glancing blow into the window, which rang his bell, and recuperation lasted long enough that I was able to get the DA 200mm lens on the camera and get in position. In sixteen years of living here, he's the first one of his type that I've seen.
