Submitting work to a gallery

I would start by visiting Galleries you are interested in and bringing your portfolio with you. If someone thinks you're good you will have no problem finding a gallery to display your work. The first challenge you will have is getting high quality prints and framing done for display (if you haven't already done so).

NY? Going after the big ones, right? Look, Clint's suggestion is perfectly valid and each gallery will have a different offering (assuming they do want to display your work), ranging from doing EVERYTHING themselves to simply providing the space and client listings and anything in between. It will ALL depend on how they value your work.

However I disagree with Clint as far as the first challenge! your first challenge will be to get a gallery curator to give you the time of day and to even peruse your portfolio for more than a few minutes - unless what they see in the first 4-5 images is WELL worth their time, they will simply excuse themselves and see you out.

I'm saying this because I had a look at your site and I truly, honestly believe that you should work on your image selection - your site should represent the best of your work. After all, the skill going into selecting images for a site are the same as selecting images for a portfolio, ESPECIALLY when hoping to hit the NY scene, one of the most competitive art scenes in the world....
