Can I replace Rebel G focusing screeen?

AFAIK Rebel G does not have interchangeable screen, nor any 3rd party that make such.<br>

But, say if can make my own DIY ground glass (from old dead MF body), can I mount it on Rebel G body?<br>

What model does have (almost) same screen removal procedure? 300D seems slightly similar but not yet sure.<br>

I accept all risk coming from doing this, either it can damage the camera body itself.<br>

<p>No - it's not really replaceable. I'm sure you can get it out but I personally wouldn't recommend it. Accuracy and shim thickness are measured in .001" amounts, and all screens are designed so they will pretty much not interchange with any other camera, with a few exceptions that don't include the Rebel G.</p>
