ross nolly
Has anyone had any experience using the Zorki 4K and the Jupiter 12 (35mm lens)? I was interested in whether I can use the normal viewfinder without needing an auxillary viewfinder. I've had a play with my FM2 and a 35mm lens to compare, and at about 4 metres focussing distance there seems to be about 30cm difference. Any input?

Cheers :-)
matthew_rusbarsky
Yeah, you need an accessory finder for the 35. I have a KMZ for my Fed and am very happy with it. If you decide to go the FSU route, keep in mind there are mirror images of the KMZ turret, one for the Fed/Zorki, the other for the Kiev.
User_4525289
Mathew, I have never heard of different models for universal viewfinder the only one model was prodused by KMZ by my knowledge. However there is a separate one for 35 mm lenses. And it is rather rare item.
xxloverxx
Kozma — I believe there were 2 versions made because of the location of the shutter speed dials on FEDs and Zorkis. It didn't matter on Kievs.

Ross — of course you can use the built in 50mm VF while using the J12; nothing's stopping you from doing that. You'll just have to guess what's happening outside the frame. On the upside, you get to use the rangefinder.
