Nikon Wednesday Pic 2010: #32

<p>There was some sort of water skiing competition in a lagoon not too far from where I live so I thought it would be fun to check it out and take some photos. It was a free event so that made it even more fun.</p><div></div>

Wednesday really crept up on me this week. Don't have anything to post this week so I will have to put up another image recently processed from the worldwide photowalk.</p><div></div>

<p>Shot through the hotel room glass at the daytime (dormant) fountains at Bellagio in Las Vegas. This was the very first and my favorite of over 600 images taken over two days. Funny how it can work out that way.</p><div></div>

<p>Great stuff as always. Hasn't been a very productive week picture-wise, so here's something from a couple of weeks back. Was out for a ride and saw this mass of black-eyed Susans, and liked the color match of the honeybee.</p><div></div>

<p>I picked up my first macro lens this week, a Nikon AI 55mm 3.5 after seeing many interesting shots from this thread. The following shot was something I found in the backyard yesterday. Nice shots everyone.<br /></p>

Here is a contribution from a recent trip to South Africa (Nikon D40 and 18-135). not sure if the frog's color is natural or if it has to do with the proximity of a large source of chlorine (swimming pool).</p>

<p>On last Thursday our camera club was at a Lenin Museum taking portraits of museum guests with a statue of Lenin as a part of a city festival. Had a great time, met some great characters, but unfortunately I can not post the portraits I took. So here is one of my test shots of the statue alone.</p>
