lori_payne
This is my first post. I've been following it for quite some time. My sister-in-law was looking at my photos on my camera and when she came to this photo she turned the camera upside down. I told her that the photo was rightside up. Used Nikon D3000, 70mm, 1/500, f/5.6, ISO 100.

pvg photography
I have been absent for a few weeks, due to lack of shooting and a busy schedule, but this past week I managed to get out to my local arboretum and spend some time between a couple of butterfly bushes. I forgot how tough it is to work w/ an old manual lens and have to do everything "the old fashioned way".

gwen_klaus
Happy Wednesday morning everyone. This last weekend Bill and I attended the 20th annual Historic Artillery competition held at Camp Grayling Michigan. Saturday and Sunday were foggy and rainy until after most of the competition was finished, so I got some spectacular shots of fire and smoke at the time of ignition. Most of the artillery fired were reproductions of artillery cannons and mortars used in the Mexican and Civil War. There were the big 12 pound Napleons, an original 6 pounnd bronze cannon, seige mortars and the the one pictured here a confederate 2.25 inch mountain rifle. Nikon D300 70-200mm f/2.8 lens shot at 105mm f5.6.
