Thank you all for the amazing responses! Your wisdom, knowledge and ideas was so appreciated.
The day started with an early morning breakfast with some local treats from the Boulangerie, and it all worked out perfectly (barring the sprinklers catching us twice!). We ended up on the lawns past the Eiffel tower.
The PEN was a tiny bit limiting but held up fine. FYI, all pics were shot on a Olympus PEN E-P1 with a Panasonic 20mm f1.7 pancake lens, as well as either a Gorilla Pod or the local japanese tourist to hold the camera.

Congratulations!

Can I take (partial) credit for suggesting to capture the moments? Everyone else' suggestions are about locations, but none take into account that the couple are photographers who would treasure the captured moments.

sILLY ME, UNROMANTIC, JUST PRACTICAL.

And I hit the cap lock button by mistake, sorry. On the MAC I know how to disable it, but on this windows machine I goofed ...
