Decided to reminisce this week and pulled out an oldie from my Flickr stream
Nikon D300 with the Nikkor 28-70 f/2.8
Shot from a rooftop of a fellow photographer that I had just met while taking photos from the street down below. This was a much better view :)

Good morning, all. Nothing new this week, so I'm posting an old shot, taken when I first got my digital body in the Autumn. It's of a "Victorian" candle-maker, taken at a Living Museum. The tallow stays lit in all but the most extreme of circumstances. I could safely have cranked up the ISO more, but didn't realise that at the time!

00WrQE-259877684.jpg.fa8942fb798777318a6841a962b1dfab.jpg

Lovely photos so far and am looking forward to all the rest! My photo for this week is "Hummingbird surprised by a Dragonfly". I was out early Saturday morning taking pics of dragonflies when I spotted this hummingbird right above me. I snapped off a few pics and then moved a little closer (had my 150mm Sigma macro, so needed to "zoom with my feet" ;-). All of a sudden, a dragonfly flew right at it and surprised the heck out of the hummingbird. Unfortunately, I didn't get both in focus, but close enough I guess without preparing for it. Anyway, I liked the surprised look. Nikon D90/Sigma 150mm/Sigma 1.4x teleconverter @ 1/320, f/8, ISO 200.

Hi everyone, great shots again!

I'm currently on the road, visiting relatives. Last weekend I went to goth festival Lumous again, but took only couple shots. Here is one of them, played around with Gimp on my laptop and I have no idea how this looks on proper screens. Oh, and thanks for Wayne & Issac for your comments on last week!
