Lumedyne HRF1 Ring Flash

<p> Been out of Photography for a Few Years due to Medical Problem. Getting Back Into Photography. Am Interested in Purchasing a Ring Flash that I can Hand Hold. Have 3 Lumedyne 067X Fast 400 Watt Power Packs in Excellent Shape. Want to use HRF1 Ring Flash with these Power Packs. Would be a Very Light System. Does any one have any Personal Experience Information or Know Anyone with Experience Information with this Ring Flash that can be sent to me. I am in Toronto Canada and cannot find any Information on this Ring Flash. Here, the Profoto Ring Flash is very Popular. I know it is Well Built and has Lots of Accessory Reflectors. I would have to get the Profoto Converted to Work on the Lumedyne 067X Power Pack. I know it is done in the States but no one does it here. If someone knows of a Place that does the Conversion, I would Appreciate to have the Name Sent to Me. <br>

<p>The only Lumedyne Ringflash I saw on ebay recently sold for about $800. At that price, I would still buy a used Profoto for $500 or so, send it to Flash Clinic in NYC to convert it. I also use a Lumedyne system, and while their ringflash looks nice, it seems way overpriced to me, and there are very few available used...<br>

<p>Mr. Fox: Thank you for your Response. Your Very Correct when you say there are "Very Few Available". My 1st Choice would be to Convert a Profoto Ring Flash to work on a Lumedyne Pack because of the Numerous Reflectors available for the Profoto and the way it is Built but I have Emailed the Flash Clinic in N.Y.C. 2 Times and never got a Response from them. Maybe I will try calling them.<br>
