ed_k__north_carolina_
and this was taken with the F-1. Amtrak's Piedmont hit a track hoe at grade right in downtown Mebane NC. Everyone survived. The locomotive was toast the grade crossing was closed for a week.
This photo is of the firefighters doing their job, unlike the very unpleasant one out of frame who was quite obnoxious.

rick_drawbridge
Igor, that pic of your daughter is one of the nicest child portraits I've seen in a long while. Bravo! Overall, this month has produced some great pictures; it really is a very worthwhile thread.

sw12dz
Here are some more photos taken the last weekend in May. I didn't get a chance to develop them until this past weekend. I took them at our MG Car Club event called a Funkhana. It is just a friendly competition. There are no prizes awarded, but everyone had a fun day out.

I used my F1n, FDn 80-200 f4 L, and Ultrafine Plus 400.

Lou_Meluso
Nice grill shot, Stu. Very snappy
Rick- Love the depth of your Cobblestones shot. Yes, a very worthwhile thread.
Mike- Good composition on the Two Leaves picture and the Single Leaf shot works very well even though placed dead center. Nice work.
Antonio- Welcome! Stunning color on your entries. Hope you'll post more next month.
Capital Q- Fetching models and poses. I like the high contrast treatment.
Ed- The lone fireman in the foreground lends good balance to that shot. Thanks for chipping in some pics.
Igor- Just delightful portraits of those two beautiful young ladies
Mark- A peaceful feeling hits me when I look at that image. So serene.
