Greetings from Scotland

Recommended Posts

Hello all.
I am a 28 year old beginner in photography. I have had a passing interest for quite a while from playing with my dads old Rollei.
I have started to take this a bit further now and have slowly invested in and upgraded my equipment to some cameras I feel comfortable and familiar with:
Nikon D40x (yes, it was the lazy option to lessen the need to think about the framing of the shot through numerous exposures) with a 55-200mm lens,
Two Nikon F55's with a 28-100 and 70-300mm lenses (Generally have both on the go at once while travelling about with different films and lenses), also used the longer lens with the DSLR to have a go at lunar photograpy. Got some quite pleasing results after being very surprised at how short an exposure was required!
Bronica SQ-B - This was an impulse buy. I had been toying for quite a while about experimenting with larger formats and this popped up on ebay at a really good price so I took the plunge and have been practicing regularly since. It really is quite different to the others but I am slowly getting there.
The vast majority of my work so far has been film monochrome and I have been processing my own films for this so the next logical step will be an enlarger and setting up a darkroom somewhere.
Here is the link to my space on this site, please give any opinions/tips, I am here to learn after all. http://www.photo.net/photos/rossbrownlee
I will no doubt be posting on the various forums for help and advice so thanks in advance.
Thanks and take care.
Ross.

Hi Ross,
I won't be of much help because I use different equipment than you do for the most part.
Looks like you've got a very good start on your PN Gallery!

But I did want to say "Welcome, and we'll be looking forward to seeing some images from Scotland!"

Best wishes,
