Not to sound too regional, but here's hoping not too many of you are caught up in this nasty storm that's aimed at Thanksgiving travelers across the US. Keep your lenses dry!

Happily, I've been working on indoor projects this week. On the long list of table-top product shooting was a this freshly maid bracelet. Shiny things, always a challenge. Hope everyone's got a peaceful few days with family ahead, and some nice dry photography to do. lex_jenkins
Nothing fancy, just a snap I took only a few minutes ago using the SB-N5 flash that just arrived today from Adorama's Amazon store. Flash angled upward and left, reflected off sheet of typing paper.

Nikon V1, 10-30VR, SB-N5 flash, auto everything, portrait image mode, JPEG straight from camera.
ISO 400, 1/60 @ f/4, 18mm.

Should be a handy doodad for the rare occasions when I need flash with the V1. Not powerful, but no need for extra batteries, and the V1, 10-30VR and SB-N5 combo are lightweight enough I can hold it in one hand steadily and a makeshift reflector in the other. Suits my preferences.
