dennis_biela
Hi anyone ever compare the image quality of the Leica Apo extenders to the non Apo version or other brand extenders? Thanks Dennis
stuart_richardson
The APO extenders are superb. They do degrade the image quality, but it is by quite a small amount. They are completely usable, however and they provide a great addition to the kit. These two photos are both taken with the 180/2.8 APO and the 2x APO converter. I have not used other converters that maintain the image quality as well.

Here is a 100% crop from the second. I believe this was around f/4 on the lens (so f/8 overall)

I believe that is also without sharpening.
