976photo Posted April 6, 2010 Share Posted April 6, 2010 <p>Hi everyone! I'm new to this place and am learning about photography. A little about me, I was born in New Orleans in 1976 but I currently live in Georgia. I've always been interested in photography, but I've only recently started to really learn and study about it seriously. I plan on starting a new career with photography and I just enrolled with NYIP.<br> As for equipment, other than my little point-and-shoot digital, (Nikon L-16) I recently purchased a Nikon D5000 back in November. I have the kit lens as well as a larger zoom lens. A tripod, a pair of filters, and a pair of White Lightning 800 studio lights for portraits.<br> No website yet but I do hope to have one up in the near future, once I get some suitable pics I feel comfortable displaying. The Nature ones were done with my point and shoot just before I bought my DSLR. The portrait is much more recent and was taken with the D5000.
