micah_pepper
I recently purchased an OM-1 that probably needs the traditional CLA, (shutter speeds adjusted, light seal replaced, cleaning, possible meter fixing)? I don't have a ton of money who can do a good job the cheapest?
User_502260
John Hermanson would probably be the first place to go. Essex Camera Service would be my next choice.

Aoresteen
Ditto on John Hermanson! He has done 4 OM-1 bodies and two OM-2 for me. Top notch work.

http://www.zuiko.com/

tomscott
As I said in your other thread, I have had very good luck with Garry's Camera. He has done 4 cameras for me, two OM1s and two SRT series and I have had no problems with any of them. The OM1s were $58.00 each including shipping and also included repair of frame counter on one, Complete CLA to include, calibration of light meter, light seals and mirror cusion replaced, viewfinder and prism cleaned, basically anything that is wrong with the camera will be fixed for a fixed price, excluding parts of course. The SRT Super he did for me was missing the self timer lever and that was even included in the price.
david_carroll4
Bear in mind an OM-1 CLA from Camtech includes converting the meter to use modern silver cells - no more BS'ing around with Wein cells or hearing aid batteries. Well worth it.

david_carroll4
Check the www.zuiko.com site. IIRC, an OM-1 CLA is $110 plus shipping.

John Smullen
Check with Frank Marshman of Camera Wiz in Harrisonburg, Va. They did excellent work on Agfa and Kodak 35mm folders. You will get the most accurate pricing information by contacting these shops directly for an estimate. From there you can determine the cheapest.
