Where are my .orf files?

Just got an E-P1 and shot a bunch at RAW + jpeg. Got home, tried to open files once downloaded with CS4, ACR, Bridge and Oly's RAW converter but they all only show the .jpeg but not the .orf extension as I would expect. I double checked - even shot a few at the computer in RAW but I can't find anything with the .orf file name. What am I doing wrong??? Camera show RAW is selected. Help please!

Mike, as an aside, I notice you are using ACR.

Have you tried Capture One?
The difference in quality is nigh and day. I was forever getting softish, wooly shots when developed with ACR. Distant foliage especially would take on a distinct painterly look.
I tried Capture One, and I'm converted. Photos have an almost filmic feel. The detail that it brings out in shots is phenomenal, detail that I though my modest camera (E510) was unable to capture.

Be sure you have the latest version of the Camera Raw plugin installed, Camera Raw v5.6, for Photoshop CS4 and Bridge CS4 compatibility. For Olympus Studio, you need v2.3; for Lightroom v2.6; for Aperture v3.0.

As Godfrey points out, you have CS4 so download the latest Camera RAW plugin from Adobe's website as I did a few days ago. I do not use an E-P1, but rather an e3 DSLR and all my OM stuff with black and white film (still the best).

I do have an odd situation however with my digital setup. I just got back from a trip last Saturday and had about 800 RAW files to process out. I have been using PhotoShop and Bridge in CS4 since upgrading last year from CS2.3. It is faster than the Olympus RAW processing (supplied with the e3), not necessarily better.
Here is my glitch. I set the colour space for Adobe RGB on the camera and shot all the RAW files with this setting. In PhotoShop, I set the colour settings to read Adobe RGB profiles as my default. In Bridge/PhotoShop the RAW file profile appears "untagged" - odd since I favoured Adobe RGB to sRGB and CS4 is Adobe! When I open the 16 bit TIFF file in PhotoShop, it says the profile is sRGB and I have to convert it to working space Adobe RGB!
I first thought maybe an updated RAW plugin for PhotoShop would correct this so I downloaded the Camera RAW v5.6 plugin and installed it. To test my setup, I shot two identical shots, one in Adobe RGB and the second with sRGB colour space. Both were "seen" by PhotoShop as sRGB but the Olympus Raw processing that came with my e3 corrected processed the files and PhotoShop saw each profile as it was assigned by the camera. So I think that Adobe has a glitch in their Olympus RAW processing? Anyone else ran into this?
It's not the end of the world but if I set my camera and PhotoShop to the same colour RGB space - I shouldn't have to click on working space when I open my images once they are processed from RAW.
Thanks, mbw (in Canada where we like the letter "u")
