funny pet shots with classic cameras

<p>I was in my room this morning when my father's cat decided he wanted to be part of the scenery. Luckily, I had a flash on an umbrella set up and it gave me a chance to try out the new digicam. The cat parked himself between an old slide projector and a Minolta SRT-101, while providing a background for a roll of Fuji Superia 200.</p><div></div>

<p>With all due respect, I have been busy with my father for the past month and I haven't had a chance to get out and shoot.</p>

I want to hear some LPs.. Can ou put one on? I haven't had any sun here in western europe so I have been quite a house-mouse myself! Nice clean shot.. I'd be concerned the cat would knock the camera over!

<p>As luck would have it, (or unluck if there is such a word), I shot some pictures of my sister's dog yesterday, after he visited the vet. Something wrong with his tail after a wild jump in the snow, and he's in a bit of pain now. But after the doc shot him full of painkillers and put on his lampshade hood I just had to take his picture. I'll probably have it somewhere next week. Though this post will have disappeared down the bottom of the index page by then.</p>

<p>Chuck, yeah weather here in Dutchieland is nothing but Snow and Sleet this last week. And I've been confined to quarters too for most of the weekend. I played some old Bakelite records on my 1920s Sears & Roebuck portable gramophone player. I bet the "Wilhelm Tell overture" annoyed the heck out of the neighbours :P</p>

<p>It's a funny mix of old and new. The old being the slide projector, the SRT, the Praktica (just sticking a lens into the left side of the picture), the turntable, and then again, the wireless control for the 5.1 home theatre. The cat is also new.</p>

<p>I have the strangest cats. This one likes to wade around in the swamp, knee deep in mud and catch frogs.</p><div></div>

<p>I shot this back when the camera (a RollieMagic) was a working camera and not a classic. Come to think of it, I'm not sure the RolleiMagic will <em>ever</em> count as a classic.</p>

<p>Here's one that was shot with a classic. The camera used was a Hanimex 35SL (relabelled Chinon CS) with an Auto Makinon 2.8/28. My cat Lucy got caught mid yawn. No shutter lag issues here.</p><div></div>

I went out with a gal named Lucy for a while, she had bug um...uh, well they were neato. </p>
