Sourcing outdated XD memory card

<p>Can anyone suggest where I might buy an XD memory card for an Olympus C730 Ultra Zoom. Current cards are not compatible. Thanks.</p>

<p>Used, off eBay? Smaller capacity ones will likely be older. The C730 also has a Smart Media card slot, correct? You can still get them new in a few places (i.e. B&H etc.). Couldn't tell you whether those are all backward compatible or not though.</p>

<p>According to information that I found on the web, the C730 can utilize xD cards up to 512MB, but cannot use cards of 1GB or greater. Amazon currently lists the smaller capacity cards.</p>

<p>Go to the Amazon site and search for Olympus 512MB xD picture card. I suspect the cheapest, by a reliable manufacturer, should work fine.</p>

<p>Thanks for your response. I have also, since posting, learned that the C730 will take the smart media card which came with earlier models. I have those but have yet to try them.</p>

<p>I would suggest retailers like Wolf Camera, Radio Shack, Best Buy, and Walmart. I think I have seen XD cards at all these stores. When you buy the card, get clarification to make sure you can return the card for a refund if it turns out not to work in your camera.</p>
