I was typing on that other thread about path to the subject. I thought it might be a good idea for a thread if we pooled some of our images in a chain. It might help a beginner with composition.

Idea is, post a photo of yours, and the next person answers some questions, and posts a photo of their own. Next person answers and posts; and, so on.

1. What is the general topic of the photo?
2. What is the subject of the photo?
3. What is the path to the subject?

00VGQt-200985684.jpg.b2f17e4942d9730f393472fb2b271dea.jpg

Example:
1. The general topic of the photo is the guitar.
2. The subject of the photo is the pickup.
3. Our eye follows the shiny diagonals of the guitar strings down from the top edge of the photo to arrive at the subject.
Photo for the next photographer:
[Clue: is the subject of the photo the waterfall? Or, is it something else?]

00VGQy-200987584.jpg.7d94c3d4d037faa96fe3fb3846837acc.jpg
