Where is GENE M when you need him?

<p>After several weeks being away from a computer, (No -- I wasn't in a "facility"), I come home and find no new Gene M posts. Doesn't the man realize that he has commitments to the rest of the world?</p>

<p>No kidding, I 've been gumpy for a while, and I think I know why.</p>

<p>One of his last posts mentioned that he would be/is off photographing his town for a local hospital?? I believe it is. With all the photo taking, developing, printing and so on, I'm sure he's very busy.<strong><em> And</em></strong> ice fishing is just around the corner...we're not likely to see him until spring thaw!</p>

<p>Why would anybody want to go fishing for ice when you can buy a 10lb bag of it for a buck or two at the 7-11? :-)</p>

<p>How can you say that, <strong>Bob </strong> ! Everyone knows that fresh-caught wild ice is far nicer than the frozen stuff...And I suspect Gene is beavering away at some spectacular post, to delight us all for Christmas.</p>

<p>We just spent an hour roaring with laughter looking at Gene M's found pictures! The man is a poet. I have a roll of PRN Pro 100 film which I found inside an old Rolleicord that I recently acquired. Can this be developed in BW chemistry? It's marked C41.</p>

<p>I prefer free-range ice.</p>

<p>Seriously, does anyone know a publishing agent that could get Gene a book deal? I think there could be at least two good coffee table books between the found film and vintage cameras. I'd buy them.</p>
