Blog critique...would love to hear from anyone out there

<p>Hello my name is Ryan and and I would love some advice on my blog. The blog is http://rjbimageryblog.tumblr.com/ I hope you enjoy and would love to hear your thoughts.</p>

<p>Actually, there is really no one out here. The whole thing (P.net) is a vast scam by a few of the moderators who make up everything and everybody else. My personal author is Lex, for example, while others are done by Josh or Bob.</p>

<p>This probably belongs in the Website Creation forum, so I'll move it there. Without some compartmentalization the photo discussion forums would quickly fill up with requests to look at blogs, websites, etc., which in turn tends to attract spammers from businesses that aren't interested in participating on photo.net but just want to take advantage of photo.net's traffic and Google ranking.</p>

<p>I understand, Ryan. I could tell from your photo.net bio and public profile page that you're a legit member. The Website Creation forum was created specifically for members like you to ask for help, advice and feedback regarding photography oriented websites and blogs.</p>

<p>You've got a generally clean lay-out, which I appreciate. I'm not sure though if the times displayed are for when you took each photo, or when they were uploaded. I could figure it out, but then why should I have too? My point is don't clutter the lay-out with irrelevant information. I do like the day/month/year information; it tells me your blog has not been abandoned, as so many are. Another item I had trouble with is the "tagged as" captions. You have a caption under all the thumbnail images I saw, so I don't understand the point of a second, redundant caption and a second display of the same image unless you want to add information such as your EXIF data as a technical caption for optional viewing. Lastly, you've included full-size images which anyone could easily remove from your site and use. It's your choice to include a full-size image online, but few photographers do. Consider including a discrete copyright line on your large images and copyright info. in your Metadata if you haven't already.</p>

<p>Like the Blog very much perhaps the dates are a little distracting but I sense your putting a nice indvidual touch to this and perhaps is a good thing I like the Black on White..maybe just simply change numbers to black and if possible adjust opacity to anything non related to the photo..lovely images btw nice walk.</p>
