funkag
I got a 65xxxx Nikon F body over the summer as a throw-in for parts with another F body and some lenses. I was able to get it working by exercising the shutter and cleaning it up a bit, but today it looks like it failed something fierce. I can advance the crank, but all that does is flip the mirror around (to various levels of up, down, and in-between), but advancing does not cock the shutter. I also cannot push the shutter button. Is there anything I should/can check before declaring it shelf candy for a few years until I can justify the cost of a repair? Thanks.
