LF online printer / large prints (30x40)

<p>Any suggestions for an online printer? I am specifically neededing very large high quality prints (8bit tiffs). I need something 30x40. My local shop that does my small prints charges over $100 which seems awfully high. Thanks.</p>

<p>That's probably because your local shop is actually having someone else do that. That's large. And all of the labs that ship to you are going to have to pay some extra to the carrier (UPS, FedEx) to handle a package that large, and to insure it against the damage that can so easily happen with something that fragile. That drives up costs in a hurry. I'd be surprised if you could a quality job done for less than that pretty much anywhere.</p>

<p>Is there an alternative? Maybe poster prints? Or is the quality much worse.</p>

<p>whcc looks good but its similar to all the other big sites. I am a new comer, without a pro studio. I don't have what it takes to become a client. I don't have the a steady demand for constant prints :(</p>
