lasting legacy studio
My first try at Model Mayhem. It was fun. What do you think?
http://bradyphotograhy.com/galleries/Brittney-Grace/
taje
Very nice location and I really appreciate the job, as I'm doing my first steps there, as well. There are some very good ones, but I would apply some tighter selection. 100 shots are a lot to manage for a common attention level, and the top images end up not boosted like they should be.

Just my 2 pennies. Lovely work, anyway!
allen_r1
I agree with the above comment. 100 photos is entirely too many. I tend to be more selective both in what I shoot and what I post (likely due to my film background). There is no way to provide a global comment because the photos have different strengths and weaknesses. And remember a portfolio is only as good as your weakest photo. As Marco stated, the weaker ones pull down the impression created by the stronger ones. But many of them are quite good.
gia_hillenbrand
I like these too. Although I was wondering if you use a reflector? Some of them I would see a benefit for a gold reflector, or a diffusser.
I like the water ones - did you have a give them wine before they would get in? I hope it was a warm day! LOL
richardgbowen
You are using Adobe Lightroom galleries, and for that I commend you, very easy to control color and output. When you first said Model Mayhem, I was expecting your MM # then going there. If you are interested in growing that community, I would recommend finding 10-15 of your best and uploading them there there. You can also upload albums there, so you can seperate different ideas/looks/models into easier to drill down albums. Good Luck!
lasting legacy studio
Thanks for the comments. Yeah I should have whittled them down. As for the reflector, I did not use a reflector even though I had one. I just didn't have someone to hold it!
rascal64
Nice work. My fave is the girl in the green dress on the dock.
owen_s
overall, it's a very nice set.
the biggest thing I noticed is that their eyes are deep in shadows most of the time, which can be fixed by using a diffused fill flash on top of the camera, or a reflector (a tiny fill flash is easier to mount to the camera, than a 30 or 40 inch reflector, or lug around a reflector stand)
dean_tomasula1
Nice shots. A lot of them (I didn't actually get to look at all 102 of them!) look overexposed on my Mac. Also, I noticed there seems to be a lot of "air" above the heads of the models in your portrait-orientation shots. Some cropping would go a long way here. There is a lot of negative space above their heads. As has been said, 10-12 really killer shots would be better than all 102 shots on your site. Good luck and keep at it.
