michael_elenko
Here another out-of-the-ordinary commute photograph, taken the evening of the orca whale shot above. This is of a paraglider, who was skyrocketing near the ferry. As one can see, the water was very severe. In fact, five minutes after I took the shot, the ferry captain closed the outside decks off as a precaution.
Note to self: bring longer lenses during days when you may encounter a whale and a paraglider.

ME

michael_elenko
One more very much from the ground this time. My daughter celebrating her U-12 soccer team's 2-0 victory over a team from Tacoma. The Wasabi soccer team played intensely for the full 60, even more impressive considering they had no substitutes for this away game.
A winning smile

Pentax K20D, Sigma (Bigma) 50-500mm @ 83mm, f6.7 @ 1/750, ISO 800

ME

Tony Evans
A lot of great stuff in need of acknowledgement.
Howard: Must be Halloween. You have captured the water flow perfectly and the fountains look right goulish:).
Ian & Robert B.: Both great nature shots.
Robert C.: Absolutely classic sports image.
Dave: Again you show your capacity to make fascinating images from quite ordinary subjects. In this case I know its Halloween. The Hostas have me dreaming of being chased by the Undead with slugs coming out of their skulls. BTW, for the sake of the Hosta's, could I suggest "Killex" or "Slug-Out"?:)
Garry: A lovely colour palette.
Ronny: Autumn lake shot is perfect.
Trevor, John, Jack, Bob: In all cases the natural beauty has been complimented by your compositions. Good lessons here.
Haig: Grass Tree & Kangaroo Paws are striking images.
Dorus: The portrait is stunning, but why the cropped head?
Tony Evans
