Here is my photo submission. I took this at a wedding last week while 2nd shooting with Marc Williams. I was on a balcony while Marc was taking the portraits. I had the bride look up at me as I LOVED her head jewelry- her eyes just popped. In the larger photos you can really see the details.

The first set up of this shot had the B&G in a more traditional kiss with a diffuser camera right providing, well diffusion! Removing the diffuser gives me ,more contrast, but a shadow on the bride's face. So, I just have the bride move her face directly into the sun and have the groom kiss her cheek, nasty shadow solved. The shadow is now on her neck and fill flash softens that a bit. Details: Nikon D300, 17-55 @38mm, ISO 400, f/8, 1/160th with a CPL. Nik Glamour Glow added @ 38% opacity.

00UXnp-174481584.jpg.3b58a8864304bd0487a9d373b07dc741.jpg

No wedding this past weekend, just an engagement shoot on Saturday.

We all do these, but rarely show them here.

This was shot exactly where the couple met ... a local theatre and music venue.

One of 80+ location photos done around their stomping grounds in Royal Oak, Michigan which will be used as a slide show at their wedding next year.

I already did the slideshow set to music for them as a surprise. Great couple. Lots of fun.

This image was taken on Saturday at the Chicago Symphony Orchestra Ballroom. The bride was at the end of her first dance with the groom and as he spun her around the dress created a swooping motion. I was sitting on the floor about 2 feet from the floor. Canon 5d Mark 2, f2.8, 1/200 sec. 2500 iso 16mm focal length.

I took this while attending a friend's wedding this weekend. This was after the ceremony and formal portraits in the church's sanctuary. The couple paused for a photo/kiss in the doors between the sanctuary and narthex. The main church doors were open giving a nice bounce to the natural light off of the floor of the narthex. I love the spontaneous fist pump. =D

50D + 70-200. f/4.5, 1/320, ISO800 @ 75mm.

00UYW7-174801584.jpg.7968505269fbf9d9dc65a2b917e2bb0c.jpg
