Ryan, you asked, "What would be the best way to link to a larger image?"
Good question... You could just give people a link to a larger file. But even that's tough since your stitch of multiple captures could be a very big file. I do it this way:
http://www.2under.net/0710EastmanLake
This is the Export... Zoomify... in PhotoShop CS3 and CS4. Let's people look at a very large image without big downloads.

Paul & Jeannean, thank you so much for commenting on my photo.
@Paul I do love riding through there on my bike as well, and I carry a camera for moments like this one. And you are right it is a small world.
@Jeannean Thank you I am feeling much better, but still not 100%. And thanks to everyone else who looked at my photo.
Have a great weekend everyone

Ton, I understand what you're saying. I don't put anything onto the internet if I've sold it, if it has been published in my newspaper, or if either of those two things are distinct possibilities in the future. Otherwise, if I put it up here I feel like I've released it into the commons, and while I'd hope people would credit me if they use it or print it, I fully accept that, in a way, it's not mine anymore. Maybe you could argue that it hurts other nature photographers or my chances at selling other work. I don't know.

Well - I'm going to try to do my usual comments to everyone. I'm at the Wynn Hotel in Las Vegas Nevada & all of my family are down at the pool at 7:10pm - - but not me. I've driven from Los Angeles to Las Vegas & got up at 6:30am & am not in the mood for a trip to the pool right now. So I'm going to try to do this as I normally do.
I am extremely grateful to Jeannean for helping me out. But I'll try to fit this in as I just love doing it.
So here we go.....

Bernard, Alejandro, Ray, Jeannean, Lil & Steve P: thank you so much for your nice comments.
Also a special thanks to Lex, who discovered and weeded out the troll. (I never got to see these posts, but I understand I have not missed much!)
Lots of interesting and inspiring photos also this week, and I look forward to the coming Wednesday.
For me, this week, the image that stands out a bit more than all the other excellent shots, is Epp B's fountain shot. Intriguing motive, nice lights and colors. Thank you for sharing!

See you Wednesday, guys!

Hey, did we have a troll on the wednesday thread? Interesting.
Did anybody take a picture of him, I've never seen a troll with a camera.
He must have a camera with iso 100000, they live in the complete dark don't they?

I really enjoyed that there were soo many 'nice' comments this week.
A while ago there was a comment that people shouldn't criticise any pictures or so.
And since then there were not always that many comments.
I really enjoy getting comments, reading other people's comments and commenting on pictures myself.
It is a big part of the enjoying and learning for me.
Some people might not like giving comments because that would mean some are better than others.
And I do agree some pictures are better than others, but that is not the point.
I enjoy the diversity of the pictures, cultures and stories.
Not commenting on all is normally more a question of time and what kind of picture speaks to the commenter.

Especially Lil and for example Jeannean, Richard and Benjamin should be thanked for their kind efforts each week.

I won't comment on all, because then I won't be done for the next wednesday, but just on the ones that jump out for me.

Mike C, Where is the grill of the car? nice shed
Alejandro, Jeannean, Tony and Kim interesting plants
Mike O'Day, Looks a bit like the model train picture from a few weeks ago
Bogdan and Ertugrul, nice culture
Darko, very nice double portrait, too bad about the bar close to her head, or was that on purpose?
Matthew and wayne, Nice tree
Dieter, great character
Pedro, I think I already saw that one some time ago
Monika, Great moment
Chris Nielsen, nice light
Matt, My favourite this week, fantastic
Jeff, great moon
Chris Court, iPhone, haha, Funny
Sasa, great beach
Louis, Scary
Curt, Do you always let her carry everything?
Ralph, nice kitty
Tim, great colors
Jesse, I like bridges like that, good capture
Paul, looks great, to bad it is so small
Steve, nice wheather
Ray, nice mountain
Matt, interesting
Sean, the colors of these buildings are amazing
Waldemar, looks like an old postcard
Tiffany, That must be something like an AOI (Automatic Optical Inspection) machine that is inspecting a chip-wafer, there is a macro camera looking very closely with surrounding lights.
Thangavelu, nice waterdrops
Geee, there is more
Uzay, VERY nice
Barry, geee, the muscles and veins are impressive
Aaron, nice, did he collide?
Jam, he must have been on a break
Toni, nice classic
Ryan, amazing colors, 50MB!!!

And all newcomers and other posters (except the troll) WELL DONE!!!
