He gives their rational, which we've heard before, regarding the S2 and the big number price.</p>

 

<p>He can rationalize all he wants. All that really matters is that it sells - or not.</p>

<p>Well, if you had a product that was the target of sometimes unfounded criticism by some people on the net with too much time on their hands, you'd probably be defending it too.</p>

<p>That said, after seeing this guy on youtube, as much as I like Leicas, they could have found a better sales rep.</p>

<p>When compared to the ever growing number of medium format digital backs, I don't think the S2 is really all that expensive.<br>

I am not in the market for one, and doubt I ever will be, but the costs are not really all that high in comparison to "peer" products in this space.</p>
