NEW--WEDDING PHOTO OF THE WEEK UPLOAD 8/3/09

<p>Here goes. I took this last week. I am a newb. This is not how I make a living, but I was helping out a friend. The shot was taken outside, the backdrop is actually the building next door.<br>

45mm f/5.6 1/100, using a kit lens on my E-500. In Photoshop, I removed blemishes and hard lines from her face (you can see the untouched photos in my portfolio), removed the bush next to his elbow and a hard line that went along the wall (you can see a little inside her veil). Smart Sharpened (thanks Patrick), then used Viveza to brighten their faces darken the background and Silver Efx for B&W conversion and vignette. Then I blew it up to 18 by 24 and gave it to them as a present.</p><div></div>

I like the spontaneity of the shot. It was taken immediately after the ceremony.</p>

<p>This was a lucky shot from Friday, taken just after they walked down the aisle and out the doors. I wouldn't mind hearing some constructive criticism, as I've been looking at it too long and don't know if it 'works'.<br /></p>

<p>Bride and Father waiting to come down the aisle. Going for a pano crop for a variety of reasons. Nikon D700, 50mm, f/6.3, 1/250. Not much else to tell. Minimal PP work aside from some sat boost.</p><div></div>

<p>here's mine. some say the pic is too sad and they should look joyful on that glorious day. i would say the day is a milestone and this pic could convey the idea. :)</p><div></div>

<p>Shot with Nikon D80, lens was Tamron 17-55 f/2.8. Converted to Black and White with very slight chocolate toning to warm up the conversion bit... One of my favorite shots from the day!</p><div></div>
