5D Mark 2… Can I shoot a movie and take photos at the same time?

<p >Let’s says that I see something great, I start filming it in (1980x1080 30f/s). I also want to take photos in (5616 x 3744 (21.0 MP)) at the same time, by pressing the trigger with my finger at the same time the camera records the movie.</p>

whilst in film mode you can take a still photo but it will then pause the video for two seconds and then carry on with video</p>

<p>Yes and no Marco, you can only "Supercalifragilistichespiralidoso" over and over (burst mode) if you have the upgraded firmware and a UDMA type Compact Flash card. This is however set by a custom function. </p>
