What lens do you use the most?

<p>28-70/2.8 on my 5D.</p>

<p>For 1.5x digital, 12-24mm. And, of course, for 35mm film a 17-35mm is mounted 95% of the time. If traveling light is a concern I'll go with a 20mm prime for film.</p>

<p>135mm Rodenstock Sironar S for 4x5</p>

<p>Not my favorite lens but the one I use (very practical) the most. 70-200mm 2.8 VR Nikkor</p>

<p>nikkor 70-300/4.5-5.6 VR for wildlife -- usually birds -- on DX; nikkor 35/2 AI on FX.</p>

<p>Canon 50mm, 1.2L. Paintings, everything.</p>

<p>i been using the canon 85mm f1.8 a lot recently for portrait and concert work and the sigma 30mm f1.4 for concerts and general walkaround lens and finally the sigma 10-20mm for event and walkaround use.</p>

<p>70-200 2.8L IS on a 5D for landscape, travel, and general walk around. The 16-35 and 24-70 don't get used half as much between them. -jeffl</p>

 

<p>80-160 on a Pentax 645. 55mm in 135 format or smaller. </p>

<p>24-70 f/2.8 and 70-200 f/4 on my Canon digital full-frame. No particular favorite on my Pentax 645 or Mamiya 7II; depends on what's called for. I photograph landscapes primarily. When photographing people, the 85 f/1.2 is quite amazing.</p>

<p>Nikon 18-200 VR. It's a great general purpose lens.</p>

<p>On a Nikon D700:<br>

35mm f 1.4 AIS in the city<br>

50mm f 1.8 AF elsewhere<br>

70-200 f 2.8 AF-S for equine photography (very rarely use anything else for horses)</p>

<p>On the Hasselblad 500c/m, 80mm f/2.8.<br>

On the Nikon D80, Nikkor 28-70mm f/2.8. My favorite AF glass, by leaps and bounds.<br>

On the Nikon F100, Nikkor 17-35mm f/2.8. I shoot landscapes with slide film most of the time on the F100.<br>

On the Nikon F3, currently the Nikkor 105mm f/2.8 Macro AIS, but only because it's my new toy. Normally it's a mid range prime.</p>

<p>Absolute favorite for daylight shooting is Nikkor 70-300/4.5-5.6 VR but also like the 80-200/F2.8. The 80-200 takes sharper photos and has good bokkeh, but is just too short for my liking when it comes to baseball. I think I'd be happy if I could afford a 70-300/f2.8 ... oh well.</p>

<p>Nikon 70-200 on FF for portraiture. Nice balance of range on FF, speed, IQ and bokeh. In spite of the weight and size, I dont leave home or studio without it. Considering Sigma 50 1.4 to compliment it.</p>

<p>It depends on what type of photos (portrait, landscape, etc.), but over the past couple of years, I've been using my Nikkor 24mm/f2.8 AF the most.</p>

<p>Canon 28 1.8 or 50 1.8 indoors, depending on how much rooom I have to work in. Signa 70-200 2.8 outside most of the time.</p>

<p>My most used lens in each format is what is considered its "normal" focal length: 50mm, 75mm, 150mm.</p>

<p>Ona full-frame DSLR or 35mm SLR, I mostly use a 35mm F1.4 and 50mm F1.2.</p>
