steven_robison
I have several magazines 120/220 and most have spacing problems. The 220 1st frame overlaps the 2nd and the 120 doesn't stop at #1 and then has a problem at #7 and only allows 10 frames. Most repairmen charge $100. for the repair and I was hoping to find a manual to walk me through this. I see two on ebay for 30 and 50 dollars and they only seem to be 3 copied pages. Any suggestions?

paul_gardener
Sell the ones you have and get some more recent ones.
Especially the ones from the early ninties are excellent.
They do not yet have the dark slide holder but have been updated to the latest standard.
With minimum investment you get some good working film backs.
q.g._de_bakker
Yet is is quite possible too to adjust the magazines you have (not hard, and i think Dick's manuals, though short, will tell you all you need to know).
Magazines haven't changed much, so though replacing yours might solve the problem. But it also might not: buying used always holds the risk of getting ones that have, or will soon show, the same problems your ones already have.
So there is no need to upgrade. No new technology to upgrade to. The old ones work as good, and the same way, as the new ones.
dave_wilson1
Hmmmm, he doesn't say for sure. I'm guessing they're maybe Bronica because after a while they mis-space pretty bad and they control the spacing not the body like the Hasselblad. Maybe he'll post the mystery for us.
q.g._de_bakker
It is posted in the Hasselblad section. I know such short repair manuals for Hasselblad.
If it looks like a duck, quacks like a duck, etc. ;-)
