stemked
Stephen, You might want to clue people in on the type of trip you are doing and what you want to photograph.
stephen_curran1
Ok ! The trip is first time to England and to Ireland. To see the sights, Architecture, landscapes, museums. That's about it any other ideas?
ilkka
I would bring A and C. As an alternative, I would consider buying 20 or 24 and just bring that. Or A900 to get full frame and A.
stemked
Ok. Personally for INSIDE museums I like a smallish fast lens, something in a prime 28-50mm f1.4-2 range myself. Of course you didn't note that lens option. Remember, no flash or tripods in museums.I suppose if it were me, I'd travel with A and B because they are managable. The 14mm would be a cool lens, but I would guess its pretty bulky. Still if you are traveling by car I don't see why the 14mm couldn't come along too (I always travel with WAY too many lenses myself.). If you are only bringing one I would bring the 28-70mm myself.
bruce_margolis
Stephen, I happen to be traveling in the UK right now. FWIW, my lenses range 12-400mm and all of them have been used. Wide angle is great for stunning scenics. I have used the long end for birds and a couple castles that were just too far away. However, most of my photos have been in the 18-50mm range with a D300 crop sensor. If it were me, I would definitely take A and B. If you enjoy wide angle, add C. If you can live with the extra weight, add D.
gejza_cepela
I would take A and C ,unless you plan to shoot some sports or wildlife
RaymondC
I will choose A and C. But again do you need fast lenses, if not it will be much better for travelling :D
