Nice photos again, great to see many pics from new WedNEsDAy PiC-contributors!
I did not shoot much this week (again), just few shots for my better half to use, so here is one of those. This one has actually some color to balance my black-gray-white-pics from few previous weeks. :)

00T4ml-125227584.jpg.ed60d87d260e7fdcf4548187af9c1751.jpg

So many nice pictures again this week...
I particulary like Shawns stone wall, Hectors „guys“, Hasses easter procession, Toms view of London and Waldemars birds. Simon - your picture made me chuckle - Monty Pythons „Life of Brian" was ghosting around in my memories. Chris - wow, what a photograph! My absolute favorite so far!
The last days I was fiddeling around with a set of Cokins graduated ND-filters. I've never used them before and quite happy that I bought them. Nikon D700, Ai-converted Nikkor O-C auto 35/2 @ 2.8, ISO 1600, 1/125 sec.

Great pics everyone! Man, I really enjoy this forum series (Thanks Jose!). I find I must check it out every Wednesday to see what new pics are going to show up.
Here are my fav's so far:
Hamish - Love the landscape; same with Bremman.
Ian - Reminds me of early horror scene; eerie. I love it.
Rene - Love the color contrasts.
Pedro - Love the composition and light.
Gary - Love the rich color and soft water; probably my favorite this week.
Hideyuki - Like the color saturation (natural I assume). Sorry about the lens - On an off note, by the info in the posts, you must be Rene's kid ... (same lens).
Waldemar - Nice timing; sharp pic.
Tony - Love the color in your panoramic.
Fab - Nice DOF.
Gabe - For existing light, I think it is very nice portrait.

As others seem to be excited about the onset of Spring, I am also, so my pic is from my front yard Friday morning. It was taken with my D60 & 55-200mm f/4-5.6G VR @ 55mm, 1/200, f/9, iso 200.

00T4p4-125239584.jpg.4c166916eb3beac861c27a17c5c5c7ab.jpg

The quality of pictures improves every week, well done everyone - stand out for me this week is Chris Court. Am trying different subjects for my photos as inspired by all the different captures. This was taken with a D80, 70-210mm at 102mm, f5.6, iso 560, 60s with a little sharpening.

00T4tV-125263584.jpg.03dc44c814ee1bbc5d6f3cf31b6482fb.jpg

Hamish, I need to try HDR. Never though it can be done handheld. I know, I`m an ignorant. Very useful explanations.
Shawn, I like your pic. Beautiful stone wall, it makes me wonder what`s in the other side.
Héctor, you`re right. About the brown colors I suppose you are refering to the warmer colors given by the lower temp. of tungsten lights... I usually prefer to leave this partially uncorrected looking for a more warm sensation.
Richard, very elegant and inspiring, as usual.
Chris, I`m impressed. I wonder how your pic has been done.
Hideyuki, we`ll miss you next weeks.
Doug, very interesting. Don`t ask me why but I like your text&photo. The chinese carpets look nice, too.
Shuo, interesting model.
Ilkka, I like very much your frozen landscapes. I think they must be seen on print, I imagine very subtle details and tones on white that cannot be seen on my screen.

Today was the first day I got outside with the camera in over a month! it was a gorgeous 15c degrees out. So as a distraction from my exam studying I took a little stroll down to the local watering hole.
