Hand strap

<p>What is the inside info on hand straps for Nikons? Is the AH-4 strap a single piece or does the hand slip into two leather pieces? Any suggestions on other brands? I can't tell anything from the pictures.</p>

<p>Was looking into handstraps myself and found the Camdapter hand straps. You'll need the strap + adapter plate.</p>

<p> I may end up getting the strap from Camdapter but the adapter plate from ReallyRightStuff (one of their L-plate adapters... to fit on one of their tripod ballheads in the future).</p>

<p>The <a href="http://www.optechusa.com/product/detail/?PRODUCT_ID=66&PRODUCT_SUB_ID=&CATEGORY_ID=4">Grip Strap from OP/TECH USA</a> is a nice option for a hand strap. When you buckle the wrist peice, you can't drop you camera.</p>

<p>I looked for a long while but eventually settled with the Camdapter for my D700. Sturdy, functional, comfortable. Completely recommended.</p>

<p>Is the camdapter the one that uses the Arcaswiss style plate that you can use with a quick release on a tripod ballhead? If so, I have actually been considering one.<br /> <br /> Let me know how you like it.</p>
