LCD Pop-Up Shade

<p>I was hoping to get everyone's opinons on the following products:</p>

<p>I have a Canon 5D Mark II and am planning on shooting landscapes. How helpful are these hoods and which is better? Why does one of the shades have the viewfinder and buttons attached while the other is just a shade? I would think the one that is just a shade is less cumbersome and does not get in the way. Am I right?</p>

 

<p>I just use my hand to shade the LCD. Pop shades look like hell and are always in the way.</p>

<p>Most of those pop-up shade is designed for specific model. I don't think that one for 5D Mark II is available in market yet.</p>

<p>Just another PITA, had friends use em, most broke or was just a nuisance, if doing landscapes and using live view, use the ol 5 x 4 method :) </p>

<p>There are many more useful accessories and just save those few bucks<br>

to out towards a new lens or flash.</p>
