erixphoto
I was hoping someone could help me with a quick question: shooting D300 with SB800, is there an easy way to turn the flash on/off without turning on off. I know that sounds whacked, but I'd like to be able to switch from natural light to flash quickly (have both options) without actually pushing the on/off button on the SB800 for 3 seconds each time.
Thanks for any help,
Eric
georg_s1
Eric,
you could assign the function-button to temporary suppress the flash - but this works not as an on/off-button.
Hope this helps and please excuse my english, georg.
mark_sirota1
That's exactly what I do on my D200 -- I program the FUNC button to disable the flash, then I just hold it while pressing the shutter button.
nathancraver
I did the same thing (assign function button to disable flash) to my D200 and D700. It's probably the easiest way to do it.
