bernie moore
WedNEsDAy again and things are looking good. The delight of my week was after a round of golf I entered my car, which had been setting in the sun for hours, and got my faced baked. Uuum, good. Reminded me of "The Cremation of Sam MaGee." Hector: 71 degrees North? You're killing me. And I thought it was nastycold in New England. Nice clean shot .Alastair: didn't your moma tell you not to play with your food. I wonder what the art would look like after the caffeine jolt? I was at a scuba convention Sat. and looked up during lunch.

Sanford
Seems like a very consistent number of responses to this every week. Nikon D300, older 70-300mm Nikkor zoom. Converted to B&W by my "special" method.

Shot w/ D60 and a borrowed 70-300 G lens.

doug_santo
I ran this photo through the critique forum last weekend, so some may have seen it before. This was taken at the Los Angeles County Arboretum in Arcadia, CA. D200 with Nikon 300/2.8, 1/500s, f/6.3, ISO 200, matrix metered.

Dieter Schaefer
Wednesday already again? Nice submissions this week - particularly like Shawn's B&W landscape, Pedro's wife going over the menu, Bruce's ferris wheel, Alastair's coffee art (seen the first time in Vancouver), Dennis' portrait of Morgan, and Doug's flying ant.
Though I did some shooting yesterday, I didn't have time to process the shots yet. Did get a chance to re-process an image I took about 2 years ago with the 300/4 AF IF-ED and Kenko extender on a D200 - the image is uncropped.

famico
OK, let me start by recognizing some of my favorites:

Bruce - love that ferris wheel shot
Alastair - lovely
Doug S. - great shot of the lily and ant
Gary Mc - a beautiful scene

Here's mine. Took this visiting an Italian festival at a local mission. I liked how that had this little donkey (burro?) decorated, and available for children to pet. Used the D700, hand held, 24-70 zoom.
