small octa softbox for hot light?

<p>Can anyone recommend a very small (3' or less) octagon shaped softbox that can handle a 1000 watt hot-lite ?<br>

I have a 1000w Hot-lite 1000 by Bowens that I bought several years ago at Calumet<br>

There is a 3 foot profoto which apparently does but the nearest rental company has one but says it can not withstand the heat</p>

<p>I use a Larson Enterprises Starfish. This is exactly what you're looking for, except perhaps the heat. I think it could handle temporary heat but not with the bulb close to the diffuser or bulb mount too close to the surrounding rear. The nice thing is that they're pretty cheap on eBay. I'd not call this the perfect solution, but in case you don't get another choice, it would probably be worth checking out.7</p>

<p>Try Amvona.com. I have a 1000 and a 500 from them both with softboxes, although the 1000W has a rectangular SB. I am sure they have the octagon for the 1000 too.</p>

<p>Interfit has various sized pro-line octaboxes; all you need is a speed-ring. How do your like you Bowens hot light?<br /> Jesse</p>

<p>Thanks jesse. The interfit seems like the right one. The Bowens is ok - no complaints, nothing special...but it does have a cooling fan built in whichh iis good</p>
