Olympus Micro 4/3 in March?

Well, no way everyone will be satisfied with the first entry in a new design concept.
Incidentally, Asla, I have been using my ancient but venerable E-1 and 50mm macro for copy work and closeups. No shortfall on that combination as far as I am concerned. I have a good focus rack which helps. All of the high grade lenses focus close and w/o distortion compared to yesteryears' lenses. 50mm and add on the EC-14 teleconverter will get you real snug to subject. The 50mm is a fast prime and affordable, with the "hunting business" overblown. I focus real closeups manually by camera movement anyway. F 2 and be there- fast enough for government work.

Gerry. New Oly M4/3 (if it is sized of that prorotype) looks ideal for me. Tool for my typical shots require small size, really small area captured and I really must be able to shoot handheld. Sometimes Ice, for example, is melting so fast that there is only seconds or minutes time to capture subject, before it disappears...

If Olympus doesn't include an EVF they will eliminate a large group of potential customers. Those of us over 45 years of age, and not myopic or wearing progressive spectacle lenses, can't see the screen without reading glasses. I can't use a compact camera comfortably without a viewfinder, and I cetainly won't buy an SLR type camera without one.
