maiku
Hi,

Last week, I submitted photos that I had developed from 9-year old film and I shot with my Yashica Electro 35 GT. This week`s photos are from 10-year old Kodak film. These photos were shot with my new trusty 5$ Yashica Electro 35 GSN.

Just as Andy has fallen for his Minolta SRT, I think I have fallen for the Yashica Electro series cameras. The lenses are amazing.

Enjoy.

http://www.photo.net/photodb/folder?folder_id=895207

Mike
Andy Collins
Very nice presentation, Mike. I sold a GSN a couple of months ago, but then bought another to replace it. I am currently running a roll of film through it and hope to finish it soon. I wasn't impressed with my last GSN (it wasn't terribly sharp--probably just a bad example) but then I shot a couple of rolls through my MG-1 and was blown away by the performance of its lens. All of this has given me hope for the latest GSN so hopefully the results will live up to my expectations. Keep shooting and posting!
Lou_Meluso
Good lens on that GSN, Michael. 10 year old B&W film should be OK but sometimes you lose a litttle speed that can cause slight under exposure. Great to see this classic manual camera getting a workout. Well done!
JDMvW
Ancient camera, out-dated film, slim chances of success? Why would anyone hesitate?

Nice. When I get around to using my long-outdated film, I hope it turns out half as well.
patrick j dempsey
B&W film never goes bad... it just gets more character. ;) I love the shot of the bizarre prison window.
maiku
Hi,

Everyone thanks for the comments again. I just love B&W. I think buying old film does give it more character too.

Well, I am off to buy two more Yashicas. One is a Yashica Diary and the other GL. I cannot get enough!!!!

Mike
