Batteries and charger for Canon 5D Mark II

<p>Does anybody know where I can buy some extra LP-E6 batteries and am extra :C-E6 battery charger for my new 5D Mark II? I just have the one battery that came with the camera and I'm leaving in 1 week for Belize and need extra batteries. All the sites I look at say they are back ordered, as do my local stores.</p>

<p>There are several for sale on *bay both the Canon and the Non-canon versions. A little pricey perhaps (like $115) but they seem to exist.</p>

<p>I waited 8 weeks after I got the camera, (12 weeks total) for the battery. Hard to find.</p>

<p>I still have 2 LP-E6 Battery in back order status with Adorama!<br>

Get the BG-E6 Battery Grip, besides using LP-E6, they can use 6 AA batteries instead, that's my solution right now.</p>

and they quoted about 1 or so for the non canon version of this battery and 2-3 weeks for the canon version. <br>

If I find something faster I'll update this thread. <br>

<p>On a different thread here, someone had posted that they could get the canon brand batteries @ kenmore camera in Seattle for $79.95<br>

I verified this by ordering one. Not as cheap as non-canon batteries but available. A lot of other bigger online stores had neither battery when I checked today. </p>
