emraphoto
hi folks, i hope this doesn't come across as self promotion. i was hoping for some honest feedback on a new project i am working on.
the images can be found at http://www.galler7.com/
it is all under the "unity" gallery.
sometimes it is easy to lose perspective when it's your own work so some input from others is greatly appreciated!

regards
sprouty
I get the feeling you know and work with the subjects since it appears you're empathetic towards them, which I think is good. But it needs a more images and at the same time it needs a tighter edit.

So ultimately I think you've got a good start, but you need to keep at it for awhile and build upon what you've already got.
emraphoto
you are 100% correct. i do need more images and the project needs to expand. that will of course lead to a much tighter edit.
thank you for the input!
j_sevigny
What I think it needs, more than anything else, is good, old-fashioned hard work. You know, major projects often take a lot longer than we expect. What I see on your site is kind of like a box of snapshots. For example, there are three or more taken on the porch, which is kind of redundant. There are two with wrist scars. Again, same thing. It does, however, look like a worthy project. I say, invest another six months and then look at it again and see how it's changed.
Keep it up, man. It ain't easy.
