all-star sports photograph
I would look at other local sports photographers web sites. That will tell you what the market may be willing to pay in your area.
farski
http://www.cradocfotosoftware.com/fotoQuote-Pro/index.html
that's pretty much the industry standard when it comes to pricing, but if you just want some general advise, you're going to at least say what kind of photos they are (T+I, action, sportrait, etc), how many they're buying, what kind of usage rights you're giving them, and how long you'll be working.

pjmeade
Hello Will,
DD's advice about looking at other's web sites and prices is a very good idea. See what the market price is and work out a pricing structure for different size prints and for jpg/tiffs based on what you see. Then look for a commercial lab/printer who will print the images at a reasonable rate.
Very important: don't undercut the market. By all means be competative, but it's in no one's best interests to undercut other photographers. If the students or university want photos, that's no reason for you to turn into a charity
