bob_marz
Justin

Moreau Park is an interesting park. You have the "family" and camping oriented side. And then as you know there is the less popular, more interesting trail system.
We went for a shoe yesterday. I tried capturing the action of my wife's shoes. I would creep up to her heels, drop down, point, focus, and shoot trying to catch her left shoe up and her right motionless. This I thought was the most interesting shot, but a little too much motion all around. Some of the others I was able to achieve what I wanted to do, but they were less interesting.

bob-c
Justin, Thanks for your comment. What exactly is a GND filter? Is it the same thing as a filter that splits the amount of light that comes in, I forget what that's called. And yes, unless I am shooting sports, I always shoot RAW.
michael_elenko
Robert C., a GND refers to a graduated neutral density filter. It gradually diminishes the amount of light transmitted through the filter, usually vertically. It's useful when half the scene is too brightly lit.

ME

snik75
Ben, Garry, Justin - thanks! Justin, when I know about weather in advance I turn to my old "weather sealed by cheapness" K1000. That shot was just a "happen to be there". But I'll run the K10/20 by the wife and see what she thinks...
