Hexar AF Problem

I have an original black Hexar AF. Here's what's going on.</p>

<p>I put in a new roll of film (36 exp). It seems to load it, but in fact it fully rewinds it. It continues to do make rewinding/winding sounds intermittently until I take out the battery.</p>

<p>The window flashes between "--" and "0". No "EEE" or silent flashing "0".</p>

<p>When I take out the battery, it stops. When I put it back in, I get "--". New battery doesn't seem to help.</p>

<p>Any ideas on what might be wrong? I've switched from M to P; I've pressed the rewind button and it doesn't seem stuck. </p>

<p>I had the same problem with mine, and it <em>was </em> a stuck rewind button. Definitely worth having another check, or at least try depressing it a couple more times in case it unlocks.</p>

<p>I had this problem before. It needs a hard reset. I took out battery and the top cover to clean the inside, then after the lcd screen turn off for a while I put battery back in and it back to normal. Don't know why it does that but it works for me.</p>
