I got a epson 1400 printer today and ive been working on it and when i do black and whites they look terrible. I

have some Harman ink jet Matt warm tone so i printed on it and i know its warm tone but the printed picture was

all brown virtually no black and the shadows when all brown and you can not even make out the shadows. Then i

printed the same picture on some epson premium glossy paper and the picture went blue and looks terrible. can

someone tell me what im doing wrong or have any tips get a better black and white. I know this isnt the best

printer for B&W but i expect better results than i am getting. I can scan the prints if you want to see them.

thanks
