Hi folks. took half the day off to try and get some shooting in. With all the lens talk lately, I decided to take

out old reliable.

I really love this lens. Conditions where not good. Cloudy for the most part with bits and pieces of blue sky

here and there.

Feel free to add your street shots as well. If you using a lens other than the Tamron/Pentax 18-250, please

specify...

These where taking over a 2 mile walk. (1 mile each direction) and most are crops. EXIF in tact to check

different focal lengths.

Most shot between ISO 400-560 ....

Ya just have to post them faster Todd! Tough lighting on those two shots, but the results are pretty decent for the iso. What lens were you using for the POW pictures by the way? I liked the banister shot and the lights in that..<div>00RONk-85471584.thumb.jpg.6b3c5f0ef823018c7323cde9bd34b56b.jpg</div>

The melting pot shot reminded me my wife wants to go there for her birthday dinner...nice work I'd have been in the dog house had I forgot that!!!

I like the two girls with the yellow bags, very 2008ish with them both texting while walking.

I like the 21 Choices too, nice cropping, a lot of angles, and stuff going on and the Red White and Blue of the scene is very patriotic on this post election day.

Justin, if you go to Melting Pot, bring empty stomach. My wife and I went to the White Plains edition a few months ago and it turned out to be a real gut-buster for us.

Javier, I also like the 21 Choices shot--contrast between old & newer sign styles. I also like the way the colors turned out in the shot with the woman crossing the street in front of the Porsche Cayenne and Tiffany & Co.

Haig, Thanks for the comments. I am glad you noticed the feet. That was what I was after. I feel the feet made an otherwise boring shot, less boring.

I really like your image. I love those shots where you capture the back and you got a bonus with the facial expression. Nice capture.

Todd, Thanks. I see you have the traditional Apple shot!, Love the way you framed it to capture the bright light under the palm.

Justin, you got it exactly right....''I like the two girls with the yellow bags, very 2008ish with them both texting while walking. '' Reminded me of my two older daughters....

Andrew, That 21 choices image was one of my favs as well. ..As for the girl crossing the street, a few cities around here have diagnal crossings, that make capturing strangers easy. :)

Thanks for the comments folks.
