aladennis
I have a 3 month old brand new iMac 3 Ghz, w/ 4 Gb ram that works great w/ PS And LR etc. It's a screamer. My problem is w/ Mpix album creation. I have to turn off and reboot every 30-45 min as things bog down to a crawl. (no programs running in the background) Now I FINALLY have the album created but when I prepare it for print I get a dialog box that asks me to review the setup before I send it off for printing. 3 times now(after rebooting) I have hit the "view" button and everything freezes. even after 20-30 mins of waiting the dialog box is frozen. Does anybody else have problems building Mpix albums, or is it just me?
I realize the Mpix albums are not photos, but they work well enough for brag books to take to work etc. Do any of you use other vendors that work well? W/ CS3 I figure I could probably make a pdf file that I could take to a local printer, but have no idea ewhere to start. Can anybody point me in a direction for a tutorial on that?
Thanks in advance for your input.
Al

gpjoell3
If you are having trouble with MPIX, try Digilabs. MPIX brought the rights from Digilabs to print there books. The Digilabs software works much better and you get telephone customer service with Digilabs. You can only email customer support at MPIX.
harold_brewer
I have used MPIX and haven't noticed any problems. My Publisher.Com is another really good place to get those types of books.

angelina_le_doux
Like Brooke above, I also gave up on MPIX. I found that MPIX's competitors, like Adorama and others, offer far better service and results.
