matthew_dale
Is there such a thing to be able to charge my battery from my car. Like maybe convert the cigarette lighter andplug the charger into that? Cheers
bobatkins
Yes there is. Take a look on eBay, they're usually listed there.
zml
Some Canon chargers support both AC and DC and require only a cigarette-lighter cable (available from Canon.) Then there are power inverters which allow using AC-only chargers. Which charger/battery do you have in mind?
Charles_Webster
Stirlingtek.com sells several AC/Auto chargers for Canon-compatible batteries. <Chas>
m3rdpwr
Sterlingtek gets my vote for the multi-charger as well... -Mario
Former P.N Member
My vote would be for an inverter. I have one and the advantage, at least for me, is the ability to use it for more than just charging batteries.
freelance
I prefer to have some spare batteries, charge them at home (or hotel) and avoid the cigarette lighter. Nevertheless...if you are going to the desert for more that one month...I have a lot of 4Gb cards and still could be more worried about this.
